Moving or copying more than one file at a time

Hello friends!

Today’s tip tags along with the Excel tip below this one. Moving pictures from one location to another is a good example, so I’ll use that. If the pictures you want to move appear in consecutive order (figure below), click once on the first file, then hold the shift key,click the last file you want, and let go.

To highlight one here and one there (as below), click on the first file, hold CTRL and click one each of the rest of the files you want. Let go.

Now you can copy and paste those files or drag them an drop them where you want them. You can delete them if that’s what you need to do. Whatever your choice, you will be doing that one thing to all those files you select.
